Removing trackers

There are three options for removal:

  • Complete Removal – You don’t need a history of the object anymore and don’t want to reuse it.
  • Delete history – You no longer need the current collected history of the object and (possibly) want to reuse it.
  • Cancel subscription – You want to keep the item’s history but stop the subscription.

Complete Removal

You no longer need the history of the object and do not wish to reuse it.

Important:

  • Download any necessary historical data via reports before you delete objects.
  • History cannot be restored after deletion.

Steps:

  1. Collect the IMEI codes of the objects you want to permanently remove.
  2. Fill in the details in this email template and send it.
  3. We will send a confirmation once the request has been completed.

Delete history

You no longer need the current collected history of the object and may want to reuse it.

Important:

  • Download any necessary historical data via reports before you have the data deleted.
  • History cannot be restored after deletion.
  • The subscription will automatically stop if the object no longer has power and has not made a network connection in the month prior to billing.
  • The subscription will automatically start once the object is powered on again and the network connection is restored.
  • Use the installation forms in our app if the object is being installed in another vehicle.

  1. Collect the IMEI codes of the objects for which you want to delete the history.
  2. Fill in the details in this email template and send it.
  3. We will send a confirmation once the request has been completed.

Cancel subscription

You want to keep the object and its history in the portal, but you want to cancel the subscription.

Our billing module automatically detects which objects have made a network connection in the previous month. There are costs associated with this, which will be charged on the invoice. This means that the subscription will automatically stop for an object if it no longer has power.

If the object retains power because it is not being removed or has an internal battery (e.g., a Stealth Tracker), follow the steps below:

Steps:

  1. Collect the IMEI codes of the objects for which you want to cancel the subscription.
  2. Fill in the details in this email template and send it.
  3. We will send a confirmation once the request has been completed.

Important:

  • The history will be kept in the portal for up to 2 years. Download your data via reports to ensure it is saved.
